* POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the procurement of materials, equipment and services in support
of plant production
and supply-chain operations in Korea sub-region.
He/she shall develop sourcing strategy on commodities assigned, evaluate, manage
and provide feedback to suppliers regarding their performance, assist in developing & negotiating
supply agreements,
obtain quotations & negotiate competitive pricing, review Purchase Requisitions, issue Purchase
Orders and follow-up
on the progress. He/she shall have good knowledge of the local supply base and Korea import/export
logistics &
tax exemptions requirements.
* MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
1. At least 5 years relevant experience in purchasing in industrial / manufacturing /
engineering industries.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering/technical, supply-chain or business
3. Experience working in a foreign multinational company (American/European) will be a bonus.
4. Knowledge of purchasing of equipment, parts and plant maintenance services in oil and gas or
engineering services (EPC)
industries will be a bonus.
5. Knowledge of SAP operating system for purchasing preferred.
6. Good English Language skills (read, write and oral) is essential.
7. Skill in using MS Excel, Word, Power point and E-Procurement tools
8. Good skill at organizing, analyzing, and problem-solving.
9. Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork and project management skill
